Principal's Message: Week of June 3, 2013
Gauchos,
I know it is hard to believe, but we have come to the end of another school year. I feel really good about the work we accomplished this year and the direction we are headed. I am happy to announce that we received a six-year accreditation from the WASC committee so all the hard work put into the process this year paid off.
Tuesday Night we will be hosting our Senior Awards Banquet. This event showcases the scholarships our seniors have received this year and acknowledges many of their great accomplishments.
Seniors need to report to the large gym at 8:30am on Thursday and 8:00am on Friday in order to participate in graduation practice.
Friday is a special minimum day with noon dismissal. Block Two will begin at 9am, Block Three will end at 10:40, and Block Four will end at 11:35. Lunch will be available for all students from 11:35 to Noon.
Students should have returned all textbooks at this point. Please make sure your student does not receive charges to their student account for not turning in books that are at home or in their lockers. All items must be removed from student lockers by 1:00 Wednesday afternoon as we will be clearing lockers that afternoon to prepare for next year.
Please do not forget to attend Walkthrough Registration during the week of August 5th.
Lastly, I am extremely grateful for the opportunity to work with all of you. The Gaucho Community is an amazing group of people that inspires me on a daily basis. I wish all of you a safe and restful summer and look forward to seeing everyone again next year.
Please mark your calendars for this summer’s walkthrough registration dates. 9th grade registration will take place on Monday, August 5th, 10th grade registration will take place on Tuesday, August 6th, 11th grade on the 7th and the 12th grade registration will take place on Friday the 9th. There will not be any registration on Thursday, the 8th.
