A new fundraising effort at El Cerrito High School
is designed to carry on our school’s proud tradition of academic excellence.
In our beautiful new facility, the students, faculty and staff of El Cerrito High School are proud of what we’ve accomplished and excited about our future. While facing the same economic challenges as other institutions, we take heart from the generosity displayed every day by parents, grandparents, alums, students, and other volunteers.
With your help, the Investing in Academic Excellence for All campaign continues each year to expand. Our aim is to raise funds to maintain and increase academic options for our entire student. To this end, the campaign is focused on these vitally important projects:
- The Angaza Project
- Art and Culture Programs
- Expansion of Science & Math Learning Opportunities
- Writer Coach Connection
- Study Skills Trips
- Development of Academic Rigor
Our ability to continue and expand these projects rests with the ECHS community: those parents, Relatives, Alum, Friends, Colleagues, and community leaders who are willing to make significant financial contributions.

Donations can be made in any amount; donations of $500 and up will be acknowledged by a leaf on the tree in school atrium. Leaves can be reflect your name, be in honor of someone (teacher, student, community member) or in memoriam.
