BEN RUST MEMORIAL CONCERT

- The ECHS Concert Band will play host to world-class cellist Rebecca Rust, daughter of Ben Rust, who taught at the high school in the ’60s. Rebecca will play a number of solos and in other selections accompany the ECHS Wind Ensemble.
Brick Sales
$100.00 for an inscribed brick that will be placed on the wall near the flagpole. There are also preliminary plans to create more spaces for bricks at the new athletic stadium. Don’t miss out on your chance to be a part of ECHS History. Contact Liz Smith at blnkt@sbcglobal.net for more information.

The Lucky S.H.A.R.E.S. Program gives ECHS 3% back on most of your purchases when you get your S.H.A.R.E.S. card barcoded for ECHS scanned at the time of paying. You can get a Lucky S.H.A.R.E.S. card from the main office at school or by contacting the ECHS PTSA (leave a message at the school main number 231-1437 or email nancypgordon@yahoo.com).

Donate Your Ink Cartridges
Help the ECHS PTSA and ECHS Wishlist build up Rewards credits with Staples and Office Depot by letting us recycle your inkjet and toner cartridges for you. Used or expired cartridges can be dropped off (in a bag labeled “PTSA” please to prevent leakage) at the ECHS main office or contact Nancy Gordon (nancypgordon@yahoo.com) to arrange to have them picked up. If you want to recycle up to 10 cartridges a month at these stores and donate your Recycling Rewards certificates to the PTSA or Wishlist or an ECHS teacher when you receive it, that would be great also.
Donate Used Tennis Balls
We are collecting used tennis balls to put on the legs of chairs and tables in 2nd and 3rd floor classrooms to muffle the sound when furniture is moved. You can drop the tennis balls off at the school office Monday-Friday 8-4 or contact echswishlist@gmail.com to arrange for them to be picked up (El Cerrito/Kensington/Albany/Berkeley/Richmond/Pinole/El Sobrante)

VOTE FOR $10,000 for EL Cerrito High Student Activities on Facebook Chase Community Giving
The $10,000 ranking is only 774 votes right now and 1224 for the $20,000 level . My little family of three got 8 legitimate votes. If we got an average of three voters per ECHS family we could be at the $50,000 level which could be transformational for what the SAF can do for students. The exponential math is totally in our favor
